Approximately 90 Flights Associated to Epstein Reportedly Landed at or Took Off from British Airports
Analysis has uncovered that approximately 90 flights connected to the late financier Jeffrey Epstein are said to have arrived at and departed from British airports, with some allegedly having onboard British women who claim they were victimized by the found guilty child sex offender.
Aviation Records Reveal Trail of Travel
The travel manifests were among thousands of legal papers and papers made public by the estate of Jeffrey Epstein that have been released over the past year. The investigation uncovered 87 flights connected to Epstein – including many that were previously unknown – landing or taking off from UK airports between the start of the 1990s and 2018.
Onboard Individuals and After Guilty Verdict Flights
Unnamed women were recorded among the individuals travelling into and out of the UK. Notably, 15 of these UK flights occurred after Epstein’s 2008 conviction for procuring prostitution from a minor.
“It was ‘shocking’ that there had never been a ‘full-scale UK investigation’ into his operations in the country,” stated US lawyers acting for hundreds of Epstein victims.
UK Survivors and Court Cases
Evidence from one of the UK-based survivors helped convict Epstein’s accomplice Ghislaine Maxwell of sex trafficking of minors in the US in 2021. But, that victim has not been approached by police in the UK, as stated by her Florida-based lawyer.
In a response, the London's Metropolitan Police stated they had “not received any additional information that would support restarting the probe.” They noted, “If new and relevant information be brought to our attention, including any arising from the release of documents in the US, we will review it.”
Ongoing Document Release and Legal Rulings
Proposed legislation to make public every document held by the US government in concerning Epstein was approved by the US Congress last month. The US justice department has until 19 December to comply. A vast number of documents are expected to be released.
In a related development, a federal judge ordered last week that the department could make public evidence from a sex-trafficking case against Maxwell, Epstein’s close friend, who is serving a 20-year jail term over the charges.
