'Living a Nightmare': Families of Missing Teenagers Desperately Seek Answers After Ski Resort Inferno
The families of teens unaccounted for after a devastating inferno at a bar in a Switzerland's alpine town are facing an agonising wait for official news and appealing for clues about their family members online.
The blaze devastated the a popular bar in the alpine resort, located in the Alps of south-west Switzerland, in the early hours of January 1st. Confirmed footage reveal the ceiling igniting as bottles with sparklers are held aloft.
Authorities have indicated that it could take days if not weeks to identify the those who perished of the fire, which claimed the lives of numerous partygoers and wounded another scores more. Officials noted on the latest update that the majority of the injured have been accounted for, with the process ongoing to locate the remaining few.
In the waiting period, relatives have been posting on social media to appeal for any news about their loved ones who were at the bar that fateful night.
Heartbreaking Pleas for the Unaccounted For
The location of Swiss national Arthur Brodard, 16, are currently unknown, according to an appeal from his parent.

His father, reportedly stated that his son was at the bar and was last in contact around the new year. An official spokesperson has clarified that a official announcement of his death is still pending.
Further Missing Individuals
Giovanni Tamburi, sixteen, is likewise unaccounted for. His mother explained that he had been on vacation but had ventured out with a group and ended up at the venue.
"A companion informed me they escaped after the fire broke out and that he had his mobile with him, but then at a specific moment he lost sight of him," she explained, adding he had been wearing a distinctive gold chain.
